Rincon Palms Hotel Project

(Goleta Hilton Garden Inn)

The Rincon Palms Hotel development is on the corner of Hollister Avenue and Storke Road, adjacent to the 6868 Cortona property. This busy intersection is considered by many as the "Main and Main" location for the city of Goleta. Historically this vacant three-acre lot had never been built upon. After much due diligence, Kip and Sep determined that hospitality was the highest and best use for this prime corner. Their plans came to fruition as a result of personal working relationships with City officials, by knowing their local market, and by using reputable local architects, consultants and planners. Within 24 months following acquisition, they were able to secure proper zoning and approval for a hotel and restaurant. The land value has increased from $2.5M to $7M by entitling one of only three hotel development parcels in the City’s general plan. Upon completion, the Goleta Hilton Garden Inn project will be a $35M asset.
